I’ve always believed that ICT has the power to allow pupils to improve their writing- note the key word allows, no false promises here- and the web keeps throwing up things that assist this.
Telescopic text is a site that offers a great facility to improve writing using features that aren’t available in word processors. I used something similar in Easiteach a while back and doubtless there’s other software that will do the same, but this is free.
