Cloud Computing en masse

I came across an interesting article today, via Twitter, but as it’s blocked in schools, though a small promotion to the blog was in order.

As you know, I’m a fan of this cloud computing lark, but always wondered if I’d see a school leap that way in the near future. Well, I’ve not seen it, but here’s an interesting read about a school that took the leap. I’d like to know a little more about what software they have and if they subscribe to online services like J2E or Purple Mash as I’m not convinced Google Docs is the best choice for younger learners to use, but it’s an interesting step forward.

If noting else it reminded me that there’s yet another alternative in the mix of Windows, Mac and Android. (I know Linux is an option, but not one that seems to be taking off in mainstream education ).
